Persib Bandung Football Club

Today, the making of Persib Stadium in Bandung begins. Everyone in Bandung and West Java has been waiting for a long time to wait this moment. Persib FC, one of the best Football Club in Indonesia will have its own arena, after plays every matches in Siliwangi Stadium in years.

This stadium will be a complete arena, with an Olympic standard venue. We will see an athletic track, swimming pool, beside the main stadium, may be. So Bandung could be a host for every national sport competition or may be SEA Games and Asian Games.

Dada Rosada as a Major of Bandung City said that it is not his personal ambition. It is a both city and province program. It is hope to be a landmark of the city and can create a lot of good athletes. This venue will spend about 800 billion rupiahs. The fund came from city fund about 150 billion, from a province about 250 billion and the rest from national fund.

It is very good for Persib Bandung and sport development in this province. Especially for Persib, this club will not rent a venue to play its match anymore. The new venue will be better than the recent. This new stadium also will have more seats, so there will be more supporters could come to the stadium.

I hope this development is pure political will from the city government. As we have known, that Bandung will held a major election in the next august. I hope this moment will not be a political move and be used to be a black campaign from the recent major to get more voter in the election.

Persib is Bandung itself. Everyone in Bandung loves this club and will do everything for this club. But please, do not use this loving to be a personal purpose. We just love and support, not more.
